We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team located in Coppell, Texas. The role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users in the IT Software industry. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where the successful candidate will be part of an on-site team, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical problems.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver on-site technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Manage and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly
• Support the setup and deployment of new equipment and technology
• Regularly update and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance
• Document and track all support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system
• Collaborate effectively with other IT team members to address complex technical issues
• Conduct training and provide guidance to end-users on best practices and IT policies
• Uphold compliance with company IT policies and security protocols
• Use application centric Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and drive informed decisions.• Must possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role as a Desktop Support Analyst or related IT Support role
• Strong knowledge and experience in Android Development
• Proficiency in working with Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Exceptional understanding of Computer Hardware
• Experience working with Dell Technologies
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining Active Directory
• Experience in supporting Apple Devices
• Knowledge of various Backup Technologies
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology trends and updates.
