Learn more here Responsibilities Responsibilities The focus of this position is to lead our client management infrastructure in our dynamic and diverse environment. Manages, plans, and installs new software releases and system upgrades for operating systems and applications. Manages systems administration projects by developing test and implementation plans along with project timelines. Follow up and coordinate with customers, internal staff, and vendors as required. Monitor and adjust system performance and capacity. Document equipment configurations, procedures, and guidelines to provide accurate information related to IT services. Perform regular security monitoring and auditing on system resources to identify possible security issues. Requirements/Preferences Requires demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to work in a team environment, with both other IT professionals and with customer groups. Customers include institute leadership, physicians, research scientists, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff. This support requires a high level of interpersonal skill and the ability to work within a varied, demanding environment. Must be extremely detail-oriented. Desktop engineering background with large-scale deployments of software updates, applications, and operating system images. Includes managing supporting infrastructure, and inventory reporting. Desired technology: Microsoft Configuration Manager ( SCCM ), Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, PKI , Microsoft Intune. Optional skill sets: SQL querying, Office 365, mobile device management a plus Other This position will require on-call and after-hours support on an as-needed basis. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
