Job Title: Network Security Architect Specialist-526
Location: Downey, CA 90242, Hybrid
Duration: 09+ months with possibility of extension

Job Description:
Hands-on Experience: Extensive work with Cisco routers, switches, and data center technologies, including Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, and ACI solutions.
• BGP Management: Strong skills in configuring and managing BGP, including route propagation, attributes, route maps, and policy-based routing.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex BGP issues like route leaks and path selection problems.
• Network Design: Expertise in creating and implementing strategies for network failover and redundancy to maximize uptime.
• Cloud Management: Strong experience managing public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google) and integrating on-premises networks using Megaport services and Site-to-Site VPN.
• Network Security: Solid understanding of network security practices, including secure design principles, access control, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Experience Preferred
• Network Infrastructure: At least six years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures in large enterprises.
• Network Engineering: At least six years in network engineering, focusing on security, failover design, Cisco routing & switching, BGP protocols, and data center technologies.
• Cloud Experience: At least three years managing public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google) with a focus on integration and security.

Education Preferred: Certifications: Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator are highly desirable.

Additional Information: We will require that the candidate is local within Los Angeles County as the need to come into the office will be needed during network changes We will issue a County Laptop for the nature of the work and the candidate must return the device after their contract is completed. The candidate must be willing to work overtime and will need to participate in a on-call rotation.
