General Summary
Daily Instruments is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our rapidly growing manufacturing team. This position will perform all outbound shipping, freight forwarding, international shipments for all company needs, as well as expediting shipments, and verifying delivery, as needed. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for working in a cohesive team environment to ensure all shipments (domestic & international) are shipped in compliance with customer requirements. The successful Logistics Coordinator will ensure that assigned tasks are completed safely, in strict compliance with ISO & QA requirements, and in a timely basis to meet shipping requirements.
This is a Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt position working onsite in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt position working onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee supply chain operations and ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods
- Interact with across departments and key players such as suppliers, customers and third-party logistics service providers to plan, advise and co-ordinate transportation of materials, shipment costs and manage the timely flow of customer orders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proven self-starter able to work independently and as team player.
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another, both domestic & International/ incoming & outgoing.
- Receive shipments, ensure both quality and quantity & take immediate steps to avoid quality control issues
- Understand Global Trade & Country Specific import and export rules
- Audit freight cost and documentation
- Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
- Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items
- Ensure that all items are properly numbered and tagged
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- 3 years' experience preferably in a supply chain environment & project coordination.
- International Shipping experience, a plus
- Team Work orientation
- High School Diploma
- Proven Experience as a logistics coordinator, customer service
- Knowledge of Laws, regulations and Custom Requirements
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Able to multitask & prioritize work, delegate, and meet deadlines
- Ability to process high volume of shipping and exportation documentation, as well as comply with sales order shipping requirements.
- Possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills.
- Self-driven initiative to respond to fluid work environment and rapidly changing priorities
- Enthusiastic team player, Creative thinker, focus on bottom-line results while managing for Total Quality Assurance Compliance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer other than current employer
- Must be fluent in English, any other language skills are beneficial
- This position is considered primarily office work; but may also work in an outdoor loading dock area
- Additional work hours assigned as need to meet production shipment goals
