Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Bellevue, WA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it. Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers to build new features customers will adopt and use while keeping the platform stable and scalable. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are expected to be able to design and execute the necessary work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers. Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes. Present your own designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Participate in the team's on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: 2 years of expereince in the following: (1) Object oriented programming; (2) Programming languages: Java or C++, JavaScript, & Python; (3) Scripting languages: SQL, HTML, & CSS; (4) Source control tools: Git, or Perforce; (5) Integrated development environments: Eclipse, or IntelliJ, or VS Code; (6) CI/CD automation; (7) Key open source technology: Docker; (8) Test frameworks: JUnit, or Selenium, or WebDriver, or Rest Assured; and (9) Agile Development methods- Scrum. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
Salary: $138,000.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
