Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Electromechanical Engineer

with a strong background in mechanical design and electromechanical systems, particularly within the munitions and munition systems domain. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in

CREO

software, a strong understanding of

GD &T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

drawing standards, and experience with electromechanical systems and munitions. Experience with circuits and

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

is a plus. This role also requires flexibility to travel within the continental U.S. and Canada to support various projects and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:

Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical components and systems using CREO software.

Create, interpret, and revise detailed mechanical drawings adhering to GD&T standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the integration of electromechanical systems, particularly in the development and maintenance of munitions and munition systems.

Munitions Expertise:

Apply engineering principles in the design, testing, and development of munitions and related systems.

Ensure all designs comply with safety, security, and regulatory standards specific to munitions handling and usage.

Analysis & Optimization:

Perform

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

to evaluate and optimize electromechanical designs.

Conduct circuit design and integration as needed to support mechanical and electromechanical systems.

Project Support:

Assist in the development and testing of

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

components and munitions-related systems.

Travel to project sites, client locations, and other relevant areas within the continental U.S. and Canada to provide hands-on support for munition system development and deployment.

Documentation & Standards:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of engineering documentation, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols for munitions and electromechanical systems.

Ensure all designs and systems meet stringent regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to munitions.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

CREO

software for mechanical design and modeling.

Strong knowledge of

GD &T

drawing standards.

Experience with circuit design and analysis is a plus.

Proficiency with

FEA

tools and techniques is a plus.

Experience with

UAS

and

munitions

design or related projects is strongly preferred.

Other Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
