As they continue to grow and expand their operations here in Southern California, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead their HR department and support their employees in achieving their full potential. Position Overview: The Head of Human Resources will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization by overseeing all aspects of human resources management. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of HR will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and foster a positive and productive work environment. This individual will lead a team of 2 direct reports. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's overall objectives and promote employee engagement, retention, and development. Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Collaborate with department managers to identify training and development needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Lead efforts to ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, in a fair and consistent manner. Partner with operations managers and other key stakeholders to address workforce planning and staffing needs to support business growth and operational efficiency. Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management and proactively recommend changes or enhancements to HR policies and practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly related to manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience leading HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization. SHRM certification preferred.
