TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care; Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred; 7 years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care within the last 10 years is preferred License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Monitor patients’ vital signs and ensuring accurate documentation - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Educate and support families through the NICU experience - Maintain knowledge of advances in neonatal care and participate in ongoing professional development - Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures regarding neonatal care 26327761EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing If you have a sense of adventure, travel nursing provides the opportunity to explore different cities, states, or even countries.
