TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Modesto, California, 95356 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: - ACLS certification Job Description: - Provide compassionate and specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring effects and adjusting care as needed. - Utilize advanced neonatal resuscitation techniques during emergencies. - Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation. - Educate and support families by providing information on neonatal conditions and care. - Uphold the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and infection control. - Participate in orientation and ongoing education programs to remain current in neonatal intensive care practices.
