TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (LD) - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: - Minimum 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery - Preferred: Five (5) plus years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery within the last two (2) years - Preferred: One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - ACLS Must-Have: Winter plan requirement: Yes Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care and support during labor and delivery - Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and labor progress - Administer medications and other treatments as needed - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers - Educate and counsel expectant parents on childbirth, postpartum care, and neonatal care - Manage high-risk pregnancies and deliveries effectively - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Participate in continuous learning and improvement sessions to enhance clinical skills and patient care - Provide emotional support to patients and families during labor and delivery 26366900EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
