TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience Must-Have: - ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to critically ill neonates in the NICU. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. - Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as necessary. - Educate and support families by explaining procedures and providing resources. - Maintain and document accurate patient records. - Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with current best practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. - Seven years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within the last ten years) preferred. Additional Information: - Orientation hours will be provided. - Winter plan need required.
