ABOUT ABBOTT DIAGNOSTICS KOREA :
Our business provides testing solutions for Infectious Diseases lateral flow test, such as Rapid Diagnostics Test, Elisa, Urine Chemistry, allowing healthcare professionals and their patients to get same-day results.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Accountable for creating appropriate supply strategies in line with commercial and marketing needs and responsible for facilitating an S&OP process in line with Divisional standards.
Define the mission and strategy of the purchasing organization, implementing long-range material management, manufacturing, and business improvement initiatives.
Manufacturing Capacity and Operation Planning, Supply Planning, & Inventory Planning, Purchasing, etc. in coordination with commercial teams.
Implement strategies to reduce lead times and ensure optimal capacity utilization as well as surge capacity where applicable.
Manage inventory levels based on statistical models for forecast and demand planning.
Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production planning to support customer demand and achieve cost reduction targets.
Work with Commercial and Marketing leaders to validate forward-looking demand forecasts and new product introductions.
Identify supply risks and mitigation strategies, minimizing 'high risk' products to mitigate expiry or obsolescence.
Manage strategy for SKU rationalization and Master Data governance.
Monitor warehouse daily operations for material management (RM/SFG/FG) and logistics management according to SOP to meet the KPI and review volume backlog or workload to assess proper staffing.
Develop local procedures for inbound/outbound shipping, warehousing, and transportation, and 3PL warehouse management process.
Develop and track goals and objectives to assure annual improvements in operational performance; cost; product quality; productivity; and customer satisfaction linked to purchasing.
Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in providing strategic logistics solutions.
Develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating needs into existing purchasing activities.
Establish and maintain active communications with Divisional management in procurement and supply chain and other relevant groups to ensure current understanding of concerns and requirements.
Manage key stakeholders in Finance, Quality, and Operations to ensure achievement of business unit operations goals.
Provide leadership to managers for procurement, supply chain, and optimization.
Manage relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or subcontractors to ensure satisfactory standards of service.
Execute key decisions with direct impact on costing, allocation strategy, operational excellence, and strategic partners.
Evaluate logistics projects for cost optimization, competitive service, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage a clean and safe warehouse working environment, optimized space utilization, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage all logistics transactions such as exportation and distribution, cooperating with GBS team and global logistics involved in the logistics process.
Responsible for booking, scheduling, delivery orders, customs clearance, and issuing bills of lading with EDI transmission.
Monitor shipping quantity, delivery times, costs, and efficiency on all customer orders.
NPI Project management in terms of operation and support team to perform their responsibilities and liabilities.
Lead cross-functional projects such as inventory optimization, ERP installation, and global planning process for business excellence.
Enforce compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
People management for Supply Chain & Purchasing organization to motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field, such as Business Administration, Commerce and Trade, Immunobiology, (Bio)Chemistry, Clinical Pathology, etc. / MBA or MOT is preferred.
At least 15 years of work experience in a related function such as Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Operations, Supplier Management in the bio/medical devices/pharma industry and entire business process for global supply chain.
Manage and Control the KPI (Key Performance Indicator), carrying out a role for control tower to solve business issues/problems with cross-functional team members.
Strong data analysis skills with a logical approach and good understanding of various ERP systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Good at setting streamlined processes for SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good written and spoken English skills.
Minimum 10 years of people management experience with more than 10 subordinates.
