The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of e-commerce professionals, managing the full e-commerce portfolio, and ensuring the seamless functionality, user experience, and security of the online platforms. This leadership position demands a data and process-oriented individual with a proven track record in e-commerce, capable of providing strong and visible leadership to the team. The VP of E-Commerce will be tasked with developing and executing the company's e-commerce strategy, with a focus on revenue growth and enhancing the customer experience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, is essential to optimize online sales channels and maximize profitability. Applicants for the Vice President of E-Commerce role at the company should have a BA/BS and 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a background in managing a P&L and a deep understanding of all aspects of online commerce. The role requires a leader who is adept at driving cross-functional teams, has excellent communication skills, and is highly analytical, using data to optimize the team's approach. Experience in areas such as organic and paid search, site design, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media is crucial. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the agile development process and be able to demonstrate a history of leveraging content to drive organic search and customer engagement. The position also involves managing e-commerce technology, development, IT, and advertising costs in line with the sales and marketing budget, and supporting the corporate brand guidelines and strategic priorities across the e-commerce portfolio.
