ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Rotating forty (40) hour work week, 24 hour shifts, seven (7) days a week. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities
Utility Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and operation of the City's storm water drainage system and support of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
* Lead and direct crew in skilled repairs of all storm water related infrastructure, including emergency situations such as rain events, street flooding, sinkholes, washouts. * Complete all Maximo work order paperwork as Person-in-Charge on a crew and maintain other logs of work completed and in progress. * Perform residential, commercial and industrial repair and maintenance. * May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Requires High School Diploma or GED * Minimum of five (5) years of related experience * Valid Texas Class A CDL is required * Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas Class A driver's license within 90 days of hire

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
