Business Development Manager

Job Summary
GlobaLogix is seeking an energetic Business Development Professional to join our team and help us expand our market presence.  In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and implementing innovative strategies to achieve our goals in the Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas industries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify, engage, and meet prospective clients to build the sales pipeline
  • Establish new relationships and cultivate ongoing rapport with decision-makers in target industries
  • Qualify and close business with new prospects and existing clients
  • Meet assigned sales goals for developing new business
  • Seek and grow the business by cross-selling to existing clients
  • Respond promptly to requests, proposals, and quotations
  • Embrace the sales process and effectively maintain the CRM
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain required expertise in GlobaLogix-provided services
  • Proficiently present and demonstrate GlobaLogix-provided services
  • Present products and solutions to prospects beneficial to both the client and the company
  • Actively pursue referrals and develop leads
  • Respond to requests for information from prospects with appropriate documentation
  • Write effective and technically proficient proposals              
  • Bring in colleagues with expertise and specialized knowledge to the sales process at appropriate points
  • Transition closed business to internal execution team(s)
  • Attend and present at industry tradeshows, conferences, social media engagement, etc
  • Attend and actively engage networking events
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, business management or engineering preferred
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience with demonstrated success
  • Houston-based
  • Salary plus commission
  • 20% Travel
 Preferences
  • Water/Wastewater and/or Oil and Gas experience
  • Industrial Control System experience in the target markets
