AP Analyst

Our client is looking for an AP Analyst to join the team. This individual will be handling the day to day AP functions which include 3 way matching, entering AP invoices/credits, and communicating with vendors. Description Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment; including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system. Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts and coding. Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions. Responsible for monthly accounts payable journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to including travel and related expenses, vendor approval and invoice processing. Responsible for IRS 1099 compliance and reporting. Responsible for imaging and record retention of all accounts payable documents. Manage vendor relations and build effective relationships. Partner with the Controller and accounting team to identify and implement process improvements. Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation. Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. Profile College degree from a four-year college preferred with a background in Accounting related field Minimum of 2 - 3 years of related experience with an on-line Accounts Payable ERP application Advanced proficiency with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel Excellent written & oral communication skills Strong communication, organizational and task management skills Ability to work both autonomously and with team Orientation to detail, with a specific focus on accuracy Job Offer Competitive pay and a strong benefits package.
