Superintendent - Large Ground Up Commercial - Portland, ME - Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to successfully execute projects ranging from $8M to $20M. Collaborate with project managers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks and milestones. Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets. Maintain a strong understanding of project scopes and contract documents. Conduct on-site inspections, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Report regularly on project status, challenges, and successes to senior management. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
