Our client is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for cradle-to-grave project management, overseeing $10M+ commercial projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in managing ground-up commercial projects, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, laboratory spaces, or high-end multifamily construction.

Description

Project Manager - Ground Up Commercial - Portland, ME - Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, including managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project documentation.
  • Utilize Procore to track project progress, communicate with the team, and maintain accurate project records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership to junior project managers and team members.

Profile

Project Manager - Ground Up Commercial - Portland, ME - Will have

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on ground-up commercial work (labs, hospitals, schools, high-end multifamily).
  • Experience with $10M+ construction projects is required.
  • Strong familiarity with Procore software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with teams to solve complex construction challenges.

Job Offer
