Senior Cyber Security Architect
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active
Top Secret or DOE "Q"
clearance or the ability to obtain a
Top Secret or DOE "Q"
clearance to be considered.
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our Cybersecurity Team supporting a government customer. This role involves developing secure technical solutions, providing expert strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies across both classified and unclassified systems. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and government stakeholders, you will lead initiatives that address enterprise and site-specific requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Senior Cyber Security Architect : $140,000 to $175,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Senior Cyber Security Architect Responsibilities Include: Serve as a technology leader among engineers and architects, ensuring enterprise-focused solutions. Collaborate with Project Managers to design and execute cybersecurity and IT projects. Lead the development and maintenance of Security Architecture documents and technical roadmaps. Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-availability solutions for enterprise-level systems. Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and mitigation techniques. Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and improve business processes. Develop and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical guidance. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic cybersecurity objectives. Continuously optimize solutions for cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Senior Cyber Security Architect Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years of professional IT experience. 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields. Expertise in securing networks, systems, and cloud architectures. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, virtualization technologies, and best practices for high-availability systems. Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CCIE, MCSE, or RHCA preferred. Experience with federal IT standards, intrusion analysis, and disaster recovery planning preferred. Travel: Up to 25% within the US Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information:
