JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine, in Hershey, PA, and the Chiu Lab are seeking a full-time data analyst with strong administrative and programming skills to join the research team. Our focus is on developing and applying causal inference methods for pregnancy and cardiovascular health. Requirements:
Proficiency in programming languages including SAS and R. Bachelor's degree in statistics, epidemiology, public health or closely related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience in creating analytic files and conducting statistical analysis Responsibilities:
Data cleaning, data management, variable creation for projects involving health administrative data and longitudinal cohorts. Develop analytic databases using SAR or R Work with investigators to prepare presentation or reports on studies procedures and results Additional information:
Options for full-time remote positions are available Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience Or an equivalent combination of education and experience This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.

$51,000.00 - $74,000.00

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
