Location: Okemos, MI (Hybrid)
We are looking for a highly talented and motivated UI/UX Designer and Developer who can take on the following responsibilities Collaborate with product owners and development teams to develop intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces - wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications. Support the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides. Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve user experience. Effectively communicate their work to other teams and develop skills by explaining design ideas and prototypes to a business audience. Gain firsthand design experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to real-world projects. A successful candidate will:
Be self-motivated and able to contribute in a team setting. Excel at communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Have an understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Have experience in modern web application development languages and frameworks such as HTML/CSS, Angular/React etc. Proficient in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
