Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the monthly close and financial reporting process, ensuring accurate financial statements are produced in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including fluctuation analysis, and lead the monthly close process. Process Improvement:
Build and refine internal controls and financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Policy and Procedure Management:
Assist in documenting and maintaining accounting and reporting policies and procedures. Ad Hoc Reports:
Provide customized financial reports as requested by management to support decision-making. Other Duties:
Perform additional accounting-related duties as needed to support business needs. The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key qualifications include:
Experience:
5-7 years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with public accounting experience. Education:
A CPA certification is required, with a BA/BS in Accounting preferred. A Master's degree is a plus. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel, along with an understanding of ERP/Ledger systems and business intelligence tools (Oracle/SAP and/or Hyperion/EPM experience is a plus). Skills:
Strong analytical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive attitude towards process improvement. What's on Offer
