Environmental Due Diligence Operations Manager

Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT), seeks a dynamic and driven experienced operations manager who shares our commitment to a comprehensive Phase I and II ESA approach, focused on high quality assessments and client responsiveness. This is a leadership position which includes the oversight of our due diligence teams of writers, field personnel, and other Environmental Professionals (EP). Our assessments serve clients nationwide.
Preferred location for candidates will be in the Midwest or Southeast United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Site Assessment and Remediation Due Diligence Practice, including supervision, guidance, direction, and project oversight, as appropriate. Management includes determining whether the staff growth opportunities are necessary or beneficial to meet local and regional goals.
- Serve as an experienced Environmental Professional per ASTM 1527.
- Serve as lead for strategic pursuits in Due Diligence. The role will involve client care, quality assurance/quality control, and scope and budget oversight, as necessary.
- Manage the Phase I ESA processes and programs, in conformance with appropriate ASTM Standards, including technical guidance, cost and proposal management,
- Coordinate the strategies for Phase II investigations and provide support to soil, vapor, and groundwater investigations.
- Review, manage, and mentor on a wide variety of reports, figures, tables and data management.
- Strong attention to Health and Safety protocols and management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Permitting and Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the due diligence practice area, with a minimum of 3 years of operations management experience.
- Project Management experience required.
- Desire to mentor, train, and manage junior staff.
