POSITION: Accounting Clerk
COMPENSATION: $26.75 - $31.25/Hour

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under general direction the Accounting Department, the accounting clerk is responsible for entering and reviewing payables for all the properties and the main office, performs various accounting functions throughout the month.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required knowledge, skills & abilities:
- High School Diploma
- Yardi experience highly desired
- Accounts Payable, finance, banking, payroll, and/or accounting experience
- Knowledge of MS office, emphasis in excel.
- Must be flexible in attitude and work schedule.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated, and to be detail oriented.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide assistance and support to Accounting personnel, and site staff.
- Processing accounts payable and reviewing property accounts payable in Yardi.
- Open the daily mail, scan, and distribute them to the appropriate person/ department.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested by the Accounting Department.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Computer use
- Sitting at the desk for extended periods of time.
- The ability to lift/ move/ carry up to and including 50 pounds.
- Driving or ability to travel between different locations in Santa Clara County.
