Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist develops and executes strategies for full cycle recruitment in support of LSS Communities and Programs. Will build relationships and consult with Hiring Managers to drive the Talent Acquisition strategy for a range of critical positions. This role is responsible for ensuing hiring compliance in accordance with applicable employment regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the development and execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy to attract and select the best talent.
2. Attend recruitment events and promote LSS to build a reputation as an employer of choice
3. Work in partnership with Hiring Managers to understand job requirements, recommending sourcing channels and setting timescales for delivery.
4. Maintain an active candidate pipeline using a mix of channels including direct networks, college relations, social networking, and others.
5. Create and implement employment marketing strategies and advertising in collaboration with corporate communications staff to utilize LSS branding in employment initiatives.
6. Manage candidates within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
7. Coordinate all administrative procedures that are related to the employment process to include: background checks and physicals, references, reports, etc.
8. Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive.
9. Occasional travel to LSS communities and recruitment events

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of corporate Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for talent acquisition and experience identifying, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions, projects and candidates with little supervision and be able to meet standard measurements of success such as time to fill, cost per hire, etc.
- Demonstrated experience providing a high level of customer service to all levels of leadership, including the executive level.
- Excellent communication skills (both written, oral, and listening) and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programs and applicant tracking systems is required. Experience with Workday is a plus.
