Key Responsibilities:
- Help with venue research and selection, vendor communication, and contracts.
- Coordinate event materials, such as signage, decor, promotional items, and seating arrangements.
- Maintain a detailed event schedule and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Provide administrative support to the event team, including creating event timelines, attendee lists, and registration forms.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and participants to ensure all event details are confirmed and executed.
- Ensure all event permits and requirements are in place.
- Assist with event promotion, social media updates, and guest communications.
- Handle on-site troubleshooting and assist with any issues that arise during events.
- Provide excellent customer service to event attendees, ensuring a positive experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software (experience with platforms like Cvent, Eventbrite, or Asana is a plus).
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
