Background Information
The Massachusetts Pirates are a professional football team competing in the Indoor Football League! Our team is growing and we would love to add you to it. Our interns help with the planning and coordination of the Mass Pirates community-related programming. With 8 home games in a season, our interns are involved with promotions and serve as brand ambassadors to current and future fans. This includes attending events that are held at any time and any place in Lowell and surrounding areas.
This part-time position is unpaid but has an opportunity for school credit. Our hours are flexible and the ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about working in a customer-facing role with strong interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the planning and execution of all community events
- Assist in planning and executing fan experience programming at Pirates home games
- Able to answer questions and provide information to patrons and fans
- Maintain relationships with current charitable partners
- Compile community impact reports on a monthly basis and maintain a tracker with all applicable information
- Oversee charitable donation requests, ensuring they are fulfilled in a timely and professional manner
- Uphold the organization's mission and core values in all programs
- Special projects and assignments as business needs
- 19+ years old
- Able to provide own transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented
- Strong writing skills
- Creative thinker
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Can interact successfully with groups from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Passion for creating memorable experiences for people
- Employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel
