Responsibilities You will serve as the Life Cycle Logistics Management Specialist to SEA21 PMS 321 and execute duties as both Product Support Manager (PSM) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) Manager. You will develop and maintain the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LSCP), supportability milestones, acquisition activities and adjust IPS Elements to balance program with Warfighter requirements for suitability and affordability. You will ensure systems product support strategies are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts, and engineering documents. You will participate in the development of budgetary requirements to include annual and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions (RDT and E, SCN, OMN, OPN). You will manage the allocation of all budgeted funds to assure supportability. You will prepare integrated logistics requirements plans, operations and maintenance, and interim support plans, performance criteria, ensuring that logistics management operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements. You will review program documentation and system equipment design for integrated logistics considerations. You will develop life cycle support plan, as required. You will prepare cost and funding summaries and milestone information. You will direct development of detailed analyses of Navy Modernization Program planning and execution documents and databases. You will discuss and assess with program managers, ISEAs, and system engineers to ensure full consideration is given to the impact of proposed configuration changes on existing logistics support and configuration management programs. You will communicate with internal and external organizations management and leadership on issues related to ILS requirements and impacts that support, lifecycle, schedules, and products. You will participate in management meetings as authoritative representative of the assigned programs within area of responsibility. You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders for assigned area of product support. You will analyze associated logistics metrics to create reports and provide comprehensive data concerning the status. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing acquisition programs to identify issues and recommend process improvements for a surface ship program. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
