DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Controller will be accountable for managing the Accounting Department and Treasury functions, providing information and oversight of general accounting, credit, collections, and compliance, alongside maintaining the company's financial records in sync with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Responsibilities• Facilitate the accurate and prompt dissemination of financial information and management reporting by managing the activities of the accounting department• Optimize the handling of cash activities and implement strategies for improvement by overseeing treasury activities• Safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of the company's financial records by establishing financial reporting systems and required internal controls• Maintain accuracy of general ledger and all supporting subsidiary ledgers such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Cash Receipts/Disbursements, and Fixed Assets• Guarantee the integrity of month-end revenue and cost recognition processes• Monitor key metrics to measure performance by overseeing credit and collections processes• Support forecasts of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows as required• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual financial audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations promptly• Assure the accurate and timely filing of all corporate income tax returns by supporting corporate income tax compliance• Guide, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of the accounting teamRequirements• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, CPA or MBA strongly preferred• Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management• Demonstrated experience in conducting Auditing procedures • Proficient in managing Budget Processes • Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles • Familiarity with IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards Job typePerm
