DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry. Located in Islandia New York, this role involves overseeing all financial, project, and cost accounting activities to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports. Responsibilities:• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications• Maintain precise customer credit records • Oversee the production and dissemination of internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in alignment with policies and investment guidelines• Utilize systems such as NetSuite and Excel for efficiency in financial planning and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and payroll processes• Lead and manage team members in the department, ensuring proper distribution of duties and efficient workflow• Coordinate, develop, and monitor all financial, tax, and accounting activities of the company, including the development and monitoring of budgets• Collaborate with executive leadership to define objectives and devise strategic plans for future growth, including financial plans, forecasts, reports, and data analysis.Requirements• Demonstrated proficiency in ADP - Financial Services• Proven ability to manage all accounting functions• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)• Knowledge and expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)• Solid background in auditing, with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies• Familiarity with budget processes, and the ability to forecast and manage budgets efficientlyJob typePerm
