The role is on-site, and is ideal for a results-driven professional eager to contribute to a growing organization. location: Las Vegas, Nevada job type: Permanent salary: $175,000 - 200,000 per year work hours: 8-5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 10 Years responsibilities: The Controller will be responsible for managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate accounting of consolidated business results. The Controller will provide senior leadership with crucial information to support the decision-making process, assess current accounting operations, recommend and implement improvements, and oversee the development and monitoring of business performance metrics. Financial Management:Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data for accurate accounting of consolidated business results.Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements as required.Provide senior leadership with information essential for the decision-making process.Provide M&A as needed Process Improvement:Assess current accounting operations, recommend improvements, and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Evaluate accounting and internal control systems, ensuring robust processes are in place. Business Metrics:Develop and monitor business performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Regulatory Compliance:Oversee regulatory reporting, including state tax and sales filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Leadership and Development:Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions.Promote best practices within the department, and train and develop staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.10+ years of extensive experience in accounting and financial management roles, with a proven track record of leading teams.Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior leadership.
