Regional Account Manager-International

The Regional Account Manager position, with 1/ST Global Wagering Solutions, drives revenue growth by selling products and services to Sportsbooks, Horseracing tracks and Gambling operators across Latin America. This Account and Sales role utilizes extensive understanding of the Gaming industry and strong relationship management skills to tailor solutions to clients' specific needs. This position is the main point of contact for existing accounts and also grows the business in finding and solidifying new opportunities.

  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities with Sportsbooks, Horseracing tracks and other Gambling operators in the region
  • Presents and promotes company products, including betting solutions, platforms and technology services to decision makers
  • Manages the entire Sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals while ensuring sales targets are consistently met
  • Builds a strong pipeline of potential clients through market research, networking and attending industry events and trade shows
  • Develops and implements strategic Sales plans to expand the company's customer base
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintains and grows relationships with existing clients by understanding client business needs and provides tailored solutions to maximize customer retention and up-selling opportunities
  • Handles account renewals, negotiates contracts and provides consistent updates on product enhancements and industry developments
  • Monitors account performance and resolves any issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Stays up to date with the latest trends, regulations and developments in the Latin American Gaming market
  • Provides feedback to internal teams (Marketing, Product, etc.) on market demands, competitive landscapes and product improvements
  • Collaborates with Marketing to create region-specific sales and promotional materials
  • Tracks and reports key Sales metrics, forecasts and market intelligence
  • Regularly updates CRM systems with all customer interactions, sales activities and progression towards Sales goals
  • Presents weekly/monthly Sales reports to management including progress on key targets and growth opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Sales experience in the Gaming industry with a strong focus on Sportsbooks, Horseracing or other Gambling operations or comparable experience
  • Demonstrated and proven track record of successfully managing accounts and driving sales growth in Latin America
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Demonstrated and proven understanding of the Latin American Gaming industry including regulations, market players and consumer trends
  • Familiarity with Sportsbooks platforms, betting technologies and horseracing products
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Demonstrated fluency skills in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Required: Full clean driving license and International driving license
  • Required: Valid Passport
  • Preferred Experience and/or Education: Knowledgeable in technology, horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering; Fluency in Portuguese

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities/duties
  • This position is empowered to take initiative with applicable duties/projects
  • Position is based in North or South America and "home base" is ideally near a major hub airport.
  • If position is ultimately based in the US, "home base" is expected to be close to Gulfstream Park (Hallandale Beach, FL) or Santa Anita Park (Arcadia, CA).
  • Position classification is Remote Work.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the specific regions to meet clients, attend events and build market presence with occasional travel to US and Europe
