Account Executive

In this role, youll own your clients and territory, collaborating with an established sales support and marketing team to develop new business. After familiarizing yourself with the company, youll create a plan to identify top opportunities, build important relationships, and secure new business annually. As a significant contributor throughout the sales process, youll diagnose problems, propose solutions, negotiate, and close deals. Your goal is to position Schneider as an industry expert by understanding clients unique needs and leveraging Schneiders strengths to maximize value. Additionally, youll collaborate with peers to develop best practices, drive the proposal process, and establish key relationships. Utilize leading CRM tools like Salesforce and email marketing platforms like Active Campaign to manage contacts, leads, opportunities, and the sales pipeline.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience selling SaaS services to local or municipal governments.
Understanding of local government workflow and practices.
Experience in negotiating and closing contracts.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Active Campaign and Salesforce.
- Experience selling geospatial technologies.
- Experience selling to city managers, CIOs and Assessors, people who hold the Tax Budget.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
