The Vice President of Finance will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to investor relations, U.S. bank relationships, and corporate governance. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining investor confidence, ensuring robust financial governance, and building strategic banking partnerships to fuel our growth trajectory. The VP of Finance will work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute a financial strategy that supports sustainable growth while aligning with our company’s goals and values.
RESPONSABILITIES
Investor Relations Lead all investor relations activities, including communication with current and potential investors, preparing financial updates, and managing annual and quarterly reports.
Develop a strong investor relations strategy to enhance shareholder value, build trust, and communicate the company’s vision effectively.
Provide insights and responses to investors regarding financial performance, strategic initiatives, and company outlook.
Manage roadshows, quarterly earnings calls, and investor presentations, ensuring clear, transparent, and strategic messaging.
U.S. Bank Relationships Establish and maintain strong relationships with U.S.-based banks and financial institutions.
Oversee debt financing activities, negotiate credit facilities, and manage loan covenants to support growth initiatives and operational needs.
Evaluate and secure new banking partnerships as necessary to optimize liquidity and financial flexibility.
Collaborate with treasury and cash management functions to ensure efficient utilization of banking services and optimize capital structure.
Corporate Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with U.S. financial regulations, corporate governance requirements, and industry best practices.
Partner with the legal and compliance teams to manage risk, adhere to regulatory guidelines, and maintain transparent governance practices.
Develop and implement policies to safeguard corporate assets and support the integrity of financial reporting.
Support the board of directors by preparing financial reports, forecasting, and providing insights on strategic decisions impacting governance and compliance.
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis Provide strategic financial planning and analysis to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
Guide budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts that align with long-term company goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the financial perspective is considered in all business decisions and that resources are allocated efficiently.
Team Leadership & Development Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team focused on investor relations, treasury, and governance.
Foster a culture of financial integrity, strategic thinking, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Ensure continuous development and training to keep the team updated on the latest industry standards and regulations.
ROLE RELATED COMPETENCIES
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance with a strong background in investor relations, banking, and corporate governance.
Deep understanding of U.S. financial regulations, corporate governance best practices, and compliance requirements.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
