We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our established company in Skokie, Illinois. As the CFO, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. skilled nursing industry
with multistate experience, we want to hear from you. A relocation package is available for the selected candidate.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation)
Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial management role in the skilled nursing industry
Strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Multistate experience with mid to large size SNF company (70+ locations)
What the Role Entails:
Oversee financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls
Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue growth
Lead financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance evaluation to drive informed decision-making
Manage relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders
Manage the year-end audit process and ensure timely completion
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals
