They operate a hybrid model 3-4 days in the office, but you will need to be more office based at the start of the contract. Your new role
As the Interim Head of Finance, you'll be an essential part of the team, supporting the Financial Controller with end-to-end responsibility for the Finance function. This includes transactional finance, financial accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis, and tendering. You'll support commercial pricing, explore new business opportunities, and support statutory audits to ensure compliance with new accounting policies.
Your role will also involve supporting the Finance Director in various projects and helping the wider team achieve their objectives. You'll assist the Head of FP&A with corporate plans, re forecasts, and quarterly business reviews (QBR), and provide senior leadership with strategic planning support. This position requires you to start at short notice and work 3 to 4 days in the office based in West London. The role is for a 6-month period, offering a great opportunity to make a significant impact in a short amount of time. This position is a real blend between Controls and FP&A.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ CIMA or ACCA qualified
Proven experience in a senior finance role, within a large-scale complex business.
Commercial analysis experience
In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance and accounting standards.
Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis.
Experience with either of the following systems: Hyperion / TM1 and Oracle / SAP systems.
