Athletics Position Summary: The Senior Associate Athletic Director is a leadership position within the university's athletic department. The incumbent is responsible for providing strategic oversight of financial operations, budgetary planning, and fiscal management to support the athletics program's mission and goals. This is an in-person, on-campus; non-remote position. Required Degree, License or Certifications: Bachelor's degree Required Skills or Software: Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2016, understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence, intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2016, ability to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Required Years of Experience:
5 Other Requirements: Bachelor's degree Five (5) years experience in business, finance, accounting, budget administration, or related field Knowledge of financial operations, budget projections, forecasting processes to ensure strong budget planning and ability to negotiate hotel and travel contracts Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Ability to understand the needs of students, colleagues, and communities from diverse backgrounds, identities and intersections Knowledge of NCAA compliance rules as they relate to financial transactions Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, holidays and attend athletic events as needed Preferred Qualifications: Higher education administrative experience. Experience as a student-athlete, coach, athletic administrator, or business professional. Masters degree in Business, Accounting, Physical Education, Education, or related field. Log in to
