4/10 Job Description: Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance. Works directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet guidelines. Leads audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits. Essential Functions: Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly. Facilitates uniform standards and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company’s mission. Works with all levels of management and employees to facilitate problem solving, team building, quality, and customer satisfaction. Assists with the establishment of department policies, control processes, and quality programs within overall direction set by senior management. Performs detailed audits of practices at company manufacturing plants and sites to ensure that policies and procedures comply with guidelines set forth by all applicable regulations both domestic, international, and AS9100/ISO9001 standards. Reports on weaknesses, ineffective procedures, policy exceptions, and discrepancies and supports corrective actions, as needed. Consults with manufacturing management to establish practices and procedures that comply with all applicable regulations. Prepares and reviews required documentation such as quality system manuals. Leads the QMS document control process and system. Provides input on the quality control procedures and R&D documentation. Manages and maintains quality software suite functionality. Functions as the official FOS/EDI Management Representative for AS9100. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field and minimum of 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years prior related experience. In lieu of degree, minimum of 13 years prior related experience. Experience developing, deploying, and sustaining quality systems within the Aerospace manufacturing industry. Quality Systems Lead auditor experience. Minimum of 5 years working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment. Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with regular use of Microsoft Office Suite applications. This facility requires U.S. Citizenship. Preferred Additional Skills: ASQ Lead Auditor Certification preferred. Management/Supervisory experience. TIP-QA Software.
