The Job Assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of cash and financial services. Manage SCAN investment portfolios and reports. You Will Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash management and liquidity for the organization. Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions. Ensure an efficient banking structure to support the organization's overall operations. Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues. Analyze the organization's financial records to forecast future financial position and budget requirements. Prepare and analyze treasury reports and assist in preparing the organization's financial reports, including statutory reporting schedules and support documents. Work with management team to perform various capital investment/cash flow analysis and financial modeling as needed for the company's strategic planning. Evaluate, develop and implement cash management processes and systems to optimize efficiencies. Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies related to the treasury function. Perform annual and interim audit related tasks. Manage relationships with financial service providers. Manage investment portfolios and related banking activities; record and report investment performance. Communicate and maintain relationships with investment managers. Work with investment consultants to understand and monitor unusual financial market activities and SCAN portfolio compliance issues; periodically prepare investment analysis report for upper management. Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties as assigned. Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals. Your Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is required. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above. Extensive experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses. Experience in building complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans. Experience managing staff. Knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments. General knowledge of GAAP and/or statutory/regulatory financial reporting experience. Strong analytical and organization skills. Proficient in MS Office. Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
