A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join its team in Petaluma, CA. Duties
Case Management :
Oversee cases from inception to resolution. Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and case updates.
Litigation :
Represent clients in court, advocating for their interests in various civil litigation matters. Handle unlawful detainers, real estate disputes, business litigation, trust and probate petitions, and other related legal issues.
Document Review and Preparation :
Draft and review contracts, estate planning documents, and probate filings. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
Collaboration and Strategy :
Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies. Assist in expanding the firm’s practice areas with innovative legal solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications Active Bar membership in California (required). Doctorate in Law (JD) from an accredited institution. Experience Proven ability to manage cases independently from start to finish. Experience advocating for clients in court and handling various civil litigation matters. Familiarity with trust and probate law, real estate, and business disputes is a plus. Skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent legal research and writing capabilities. Detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision. Effective communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in California. Benefits
