A law firm seeks a motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join their growing team in Petaluma, California. This is a unique opportunity for a new attorney or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience in civil litigation, including real estate law, business law, and trust and probate matters. Duties
Case Management : Manage and support cases from inception through resolution, working on civil litigation, real estate law, business law, and trust/probate matters. Client Advocacy : Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court hearings and motions. Legal Research and Drafting : Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings. Client Interaction : Communicate directly with clients, providing updates, guidance, and legal counsel as needed. Work alongside senior attorneys and support staff in a team-oriented environment to achieve favorable client outcomes. Participate in ongoing training in various practice areas, including client base development if interested. Requirements
Experience A fast learner with a keen attention to detail. Previous experience in legal writing, advocacy, or client service is a plus. Interest or experience in civil litigation, real estate, business law, or trust and probate law is desirable. Skills Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to meet deadlines. Excellent legal writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently while fitting into a collaborative team environment. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required. Certifications
