Antitrust Paralegal - Washington, D.C. Salary:

$85,000 - $133,750 (bonus eligible) Job Summary: Our client is looking for a mid-level Antitrust Paralegal to provide essential organizational, file, and case management support for their antitrust practice group. This role involves assisting attorneys with large-scale litigation and merger reviews, working closely with both clients and the legal team. This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring three days on-site each week in the Washington, D.C. office, with additional days as needed. The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Reporting to the Director of Paralegal Management, the ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of antitrust experience. A bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is required. Key Responsibilities: Assist with complex Hart-Scott-Rodino and other antitrust regulatory filings with U.S. and international authorities. Prepare documents for production, including proofreading, Bates-labeling, redacting, and managing privileged documents. Conduct factual investigations and research to support ongoing cases. Participate in client and team meetings, providing valuable input as needed. Act as a liaison with legal document processing vendors. Organize and maintain large volumes of documents in electronic and hard copy formats. Complete and submit filings to federal and state courts. Monitor case dockets and communicate updates to the team. Prepare witness binders, interview documents, and presentations for legal teams. Maintain case chronologies and assist with training and development programs. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, including proofreading capabilities. Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented. Familiarity with Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification filings is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, iManage, or other document management systems. Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision. Experience supporting the FTC’s Bureau of Competition or the DOJ’s Antitrust Division is preferred but not mandatory.
