Position Overview: The VP of Finance is a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This role involves strategic financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role will provide leadership and direction for the finance department, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership:

Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's overall business goals. Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors for informed decision-making. Financial Planning and Analysis:

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Analyze financial performance and variances; identify trends and potential impacts on the business. Financial Reporting:

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements. Present financial results and forecasts to the executive team and stakeholders. Cash Flow Management:

Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements; implement strategies to optimize cash management. Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and investment strategies. Risk Management:

Identify and assess financial risks; develop mitigation strategies. Ensure the company maintains a robust internal control environment. Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and development. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies. Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial audiences. Mergers and Acquisitions:

Evaluate potential business acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities. Oversee due diligence and integration of acquired entities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience (10+ years) in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. Experience in Ecommerce and Consumer Packaged Goods is a plus. NetSuite - 3+ years of experience. What We Offer: Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
