Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 12.5%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 12.5%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job The VP, C&I Special Assets Manager assists with management and oversight of the C&I Special Asset portfolio to mitigate credit losses and other risk exposures. The position provides training and mentoring to junior level analysts while working alongside the Chief Credit Officer and Director of Special Assets.
Responsibilities:
Build strong asset management to help mitigate potential losses. Analyze and recommend appropriate workout strategies to maximize value of loan assets. Performing and approving loan reviews.
Managing loans in active Bankruptcies and Receiverships. Reviewing loss mitigation requests, including loan modification, deed in lieu, and short sale requests. Ensuring compliance with servicing guides.
Mentoring and training junior analysts and strengthening working relationships within the business units and portfolio management groups.
Role is responsible for the performance of multiple functions related to the initiation of the default process through post-sale requirements.
Liaison with both external and internal legal counsel on matters pertaining to adversely graded loans within the bank’s loan portfolio.
Prepares periodic reports for the Board of Directors, Committee, Management, auditors, and regulators as required.
Participates in special projects, organizational committees, teams and task forces as assigned.
Assists EVP, Chief Credit Officer, Director of Special Assets and Special Assets Manager with credit approval process and other credit administration functions as assigned.
Provides suggestions for process improvement and analyzing trends in loan portfolios and recommending strategies to minimize credit losses or other risk exposures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years’ experience in special assets, credit risk, and/or portfolio management.
3+ years’ of global C&I experience.
Asset based lending and cash flow experience.
Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with C&I deals.
