Vice President, Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions

A large life insurance company is looking to hire a VP onto their Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team. Looking for someone to be responsible for actuarial aspects of modeling and due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures of the enterprise. This is a hybrid role based out of NJ. Responsibilities: Day-to-day project management of actuarial aspects of M&A projects Development of projections under local statutory, Purchase GAAP and US GAAP accounting frameworks Perform actuarial and related due diligence covering reserve adequacy, product and pricing evaluations, determination of appropriate assumptions, reinsurance programs, evaluation of existing models, actuarial appraisals Qualifications: 10+ years of actuarial/insurance experience M&A transaction-related experience, reinsurance and or new initiative modeling experience FSA designation preferred Broad and detailed knowledge of various valuation methods for insurance companies
