Direct Hire Opportunity in Atlanta! Controller Salary: $110k - $125k base + Bonus Responsibilities: Oversee daily financial operations, including GL management, accounts payable and receivable, and inventory management. Reconcile all general ledger accounts, resolving complex discrepancies through thorough account analysis and research. Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions as needed. Prepare and review accruals and various journal entries for month-end processes. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including managing the month-end close process. Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain data integrity and compliance. Coordinate with external auditors to support annual audits and tax filings. Qualifications: 5+ years of managerial, hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have advanced MS Excel skills Highly skilled in monthly close processes, accruals preparation, General Ledger management, Journal Entries, and bank reconciliations.
