Systems Administrator - Guilford, CT
American Cruise Lines is a dynamic and innovative company seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining a Microsoft hybrid cloud environment, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, AWS, and Networking.
Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the Microsoft hybrid cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and security. Administer and support Active Directory, including user and group management, GPOs, and domain controllers. Oversee Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Implement and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. Administer VMware environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter. Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Support AWS services, including EC2, S3, and VPC. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the above technologies. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Occasional user support and on-call rotation. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft hybrid cloud environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, AWS, and Networking. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Experience with the following a plus: Dell Servers, Dell Switching, Dell PC's, EqualLogic storage, Dell Compellent storage, CrowdStrike EDR and SIEM, Mimecast, Veeam, Unifi, SonicWALL, Ring Central, Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
