The IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for IT systems and applications. The BSA will collaborate with IT teams to ensure that technology solutions are developed, tested, and deployed effectively to support business goals. Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

Work with business users to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable system requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business requirements. Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system functionality.

Solution Design and Documentation:

Create detailed specifications, user stories, and use cases for development teams. Assist in defining system requirements and designing technical solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate with architects, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure design alignment.

System Implementation and Integration:

Oversee the integration of new systems and technologies into existing infrastructure. Monitor system performance and ensure that the solution meets user expectations. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of solutions.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Develop and execute test cases to validate the system's functionality and performance. Work with QA teams to ensure the solution is free of defects and meets business requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support users during the testing phase.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through IT solutions. Recommend improvements and propose new features based on user feedback and business objectives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to propose innovative technology solutions.

Stakeholder Communication and Training:

Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth system adoption. Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in IT. Strong understanding of business processes and how IT systems can improve them. Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis techniques. Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Skills:

Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, or business intelligence tools (Tableau). Knowledge of SQL, databases, and data modeling. Experience in system testing, including functional and performance testing. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
