Description

We are in search of an AP Specialist to join our team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role primarily involves managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes, coding invoices, and utilizing BILL.COM and Sage Intacct within the industry. You will need to be BILL.COM certified or willing to get certified (free online process ~ 2 hours).

Responsibilities

- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable processes and ensure timely payment of invoices.

- Accurately code invoices to the appropriate expense accounts.

- Utilize Sage Intacct software for the processing and tracking of payments.

- Monitor and reconcile invoice discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all transactions.

- Address and resolve any queries related to Accounts Payable.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

- Continually enhance knowledge about industry trends and best practices in Accounts Payable.

- Support other finance-related tasks as needed.

Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations is mandatory

- Expertise in coding invoices is required

- Familiarity with Sage Intacct software is essential

- Prior experience in a similar role within the finance or accounting field is desirable

- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are necessary

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is expected

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a must

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is needed

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information is crucial

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment is essential

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills are vital

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks are required.
