Camp Operations Intern

We are seeking a hyper-organized, detail-oriented individual who is excited to help put the operational puzzle pieces into place to execute 7 lacrosse camps in a 6-week span. Projects will include coordinating and organizing supplies, updating and printing event documents, facilitating communication between key stakeholders (including staff, Camp Directors, the operations team and attending families/players), supporting check-in/check-out processes, and ensuring each camp has what it needs throughout its duration. This internship will provide a detailed look at how events come together through the power of teamwork, organization and communication. Duration: 5 Weeks: June 30 - July 31

Compensation: $600/week

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in in the pre-event operational planning, overall customer experience and on-site support at Trilogy camps during the month of July
  • Coordinate the organization, packing, transportation & distribution of event supplies across all camps
  • Update, organize and print key operational documents including check-in sheets, team rosters, coach packets, medical information, rooming lists, etc.
  • Support the successful operation of on-site camp stores
  • Create daily reports for camp directors outlining special circumstances for attendees
  • Serve as liaison between the home office and event staff for all events where you are on-site
  • Manage distribution, collection, and analysis of all camp and Aces follow up surveys and feedback
Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
  • Excellent organizational skills including spreadsheet management
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Attention to detail and punctuality in communication and record keeping
  • Time-management skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task jobs associated with position
  • Professional and courteous oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills, calm demeanor, strong ability to follow-up, passion to see project through to completion
  • Ability to succeed in team-oriented and independent project environments
  • Ownership mentality for position-related responsibilities and company as a whole
Required Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 Year of College Experience
  • Experience attending, leading or serving as staff at overnight summer camp is required
  • Lacrosse experience is preferable, but not required
